Meet Lynn Dale

As the special events manager for Filene’s Department Stores, the director of Special Events at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and the senior director of special events at Massachusetts General Hospital, Lynn Dale has been a force in event planning for some of Boston’s most memorable special events for more than 20 years.

Lynn has planned events of all sizes, from small, intimate gatherings to large galas for 1,000 or more guests, including:

Weddings and celebrations
Runway shows
Retail special events
Store openings
Corporate events
Galas
Fundraisers

Lynn also has planned the Boston launches and personal appearances of sports, television and fashion celebrities, implemented chain-wide promotions during her retail events career and has partnered with national publications, such as Bride’s Magazine and Vogue, on numerous events.

Lynn is extremely active in Boston’s volunteer community, supporting numerous organizations. Lynn is a former board member of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, and Overseer of the Boston Lyric Opera. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Museum of Fine Arts Fashion Council where she is also a member of the MFA Board of Advisors. She is also on the Board of Trustees of the Boston Ballet and an Overseer at the Boston Symphony.
